In the beginning, back in 1993, there was only Kate, one oven, one refrigerator,
one client and one basket of Nova Scotia blueberry muffins!
Now there
are about 10 to 15 of us, many ovens and refrigerators,
hundreds of clients
and we have no idea how many muffins!
In 2007 the muffins grew into a busy breakfast and lunch cafe full of
fabulous tasty treats and our popular off-site catering service.

Sat. & Sun: 8:30AM - 6PM

Close at 5PM
At Kate's, we set our standards high and make everything from scratch using as many locally sourced, organic ingredients as we can.
We are located on Lincoln Street in the heart of the vibrant "Old Town" shopping district of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. If you are visiting for the first time, we share the
bright blue building with Canada Post.
Lunenburg was designated
as a National Historic District by the Federal Government in 1992 and
the "Old Town" of Lunenburg was added to the UNESCO (United Nations
Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage list
in 1995.
